　　中國進出口商品交易會：簡稱廣交會，創(chuàng)辦于1957年春季，每年春秋兩季在廣州舉辦，迄今已有五十余年歷史，是中國目前歷史最長、層次最高、規(guī)模最大、商品種類最全、到會客商最多、成交效果最好的綜合性國際貿(mào)易盛會。

　　China Import and Export Fair: Canton Fair for short, was initiated in the spring of 1957. It is held in Guangzhou twice a year respectively in the Spring and Autumn. Up to now, it has a history of over fifty years and is a comprehensive international fair with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete varieties of commodities, the most merchants and the best effects in China.

　　Canton Fair is composed of 48 trading delegations, with over thousands of foreign trade corporations, manufacturers, research institutions, foreign investment/ individual proprietorship and private enterprises of good credit standing and respectability and strong strength.

　　The trading methods of Canton Fair are flexible and varied. In addition to the traditional sampling transaction, an online fair is also held. The Fair focuses on export trade, though import business is also done here. Apart from the above-mentioned, various types of business activities such as economic and technical cooperation and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc. are also carried out in flexible ways. The merchants from the entire world are gathering in Guangzhou, exchanging business information and developing friendship.
